WELCOME TO THE JOHN WITHERSPOON MIDDLE SCHOOL!
My name is Mr. Rothschild and I am the 7th Grade School Counselor and Head Boys' Basketball Coach at the John Witherspoon Middle School. My office is located on the 2nd floor, at the corner of D & E Wing (D-26).

As your counselor, I am here to assist you in having a happy and successful middle school experience. Throughout the year I will run classroom lessons, small groups, and will provide a number of volunteer enrichment opportunities for all students.

As your coach, it is my goal to create a learning environment that develops the skills and fundamentals of all players, while fielding a competitive team that will implement offensive and defensive strategies. Additionally, it is my goal to serve as an adequate feeder program to the PHS Boys’ Basketball program.

For the students, middle school is an exciting time filled with many wonderful opportunities. Your parents, teachers and I will work together to support you during your middle school career. I am here to listen and lend a hand whenever you have any questions or concerns regarding school, friends, and family.

For parents/guardians, I am only a phone call away. I am available to address any questions or concerns that you may have regarding academic, social/emotional, and career development. Communication between home and school is a key to success.

I look forward to working together to ensure an enjoyable middle school experience. Via collaboration, I am confident that we will make this a successful year!
